For our January outing our red hat ladies celebrated in Franklinton at the Sugar Shack, with Nellie Smith as our hostess. Last week's gathering was cancelled due to the snow and ice. Our January birthday lady was Lorell Morris, the group sang happy birthday to her. Frances Schilling gave the blessing for our food.
Door prize winners were Christi Cashio, Debbie McElveen, Brenda Hayden, Frances Schilling, Loretta Booty, and Dot Cashio. We played a white elephant game and had tons of fun. Before anyone left Nellie gave each lady some Mississippi mud and cherry delight that she made and brought to us.
Our private dining room was right on point, and we had so much fun, fellowship and laughter. In the photo above are, seated left to right are Dot Cashio, Lorell Morris, Queen mother, Nellie Smith and Brenda Penny. Standing Ann Hingle, Jean Stafford, Sue Burch, Debbie McElveen, Kathy McElveen, Frances Schilling, Christi Cashio, Linda Corkern, Hazel Estave, Loretta Booty, Dot Kinlaw and Brenda Hayden. The hospitality, food and service were great.
