This past February, Franklinton Primary School Principal Kayla Sabel wrote and was awarded a grant for a Little Free Library for the school. It has now been installed and stocked. Franklinton Primary was one of only 200 schools chosen out of more than 800 applications to receive the little library which is a book-sharing box in celebration of the 200,000th Little Free Library worldwide.
Sabel and her staff at FPS are thrilled to have been selected for this special opportunity. The FPS Little Free Library will help spread the joy of reading and inspire both students and community. It will be open during school days, Monday through Friday. It is a take a book, leave a book system --- a simple way for everyone to share stories and discover new favorites!
"Thank you, Little Free Library," said Sabel, "for helping us bring more books and smiles to our school!"
