The 2024 Bowling Green Buccaneers capped off a remarkable season by dominating the MAIS District 4-AAAA, showcasing exceptional talent and determination. The Buccaneers not only secured the 2024 MAIS 4-AAAA District Championship but also earned individual accolades for their standout players and coaches.
All-District Selections and MVP Recognition
Leading the charge for the Bucs, senior running back Bubby Bryant was named Offensive MVP for MAIS District 4-AAAA, highlighting his extraordinary contributions throughout the season. The Buccaneers also boasted an impressive roster of players named to the All-District First Team, including:
-Juniors: Rayden Rayborn and Alex Brock
-Seniors: Trey Champagne, Preston Jarrell, Russell Wilson, Zeke Buford, Maddox Magee, Camrin Seal, Leroy Bruce, J.P. Brumfield, Brody Estave, and Bubby Bryant
On the Second Team, recognition went to:
-Junior: Jesse Gaines
-Seniors: Bryce Graham, Jude Rawls, and Tucker Pittman

Six Seniors Named MAIS All-Stars
A testament to the Bucs' strength, six senior players were selected to the 4A MAIS All-Star teams for the 2024 season.
-White Team: Leroy Bruce, J.P. Brumfield, and Maddox Magee will play under Bowling Green's own Dean King as Head Coach and Hutch Gonzales as Assistant Coach.
-Blue Team: Bubby Bryant, Zeke Buford, and Preston Jarrell will represent Bowling Green under Head Coach Bo Milton (Carroll Academy) and Assistant Coaches Tommy Acy (Central Holmes) and Jesse Ward (Tri-County).
The All-Stars reported to Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday, December 4, for team practices. The game was held on Friday, December 6, at 2:00 PM, at Jackson Prep, where they competed in the highly anticipated 3A/4A All-Star Game.
