The G.R.I.T.S. girls red hat group celebrated in October with a Halloween theme with Brenda Penny as our hostess. The event took place in Amite at Mike's Catfish restaurant. October birthday ladies were, Linda Corkern, Loretta Booty and Nellie Smith. We sang happy birthday to these ladies and Frances Schilling gave the blessing for our food. Door prize winners were, Sharyn Lobell, Frances Schilling, Loretta Booty, Jean Stafford, Ann Hingle, Sue Macias, Linda Corkern and Kathy McElveen, guest. The food and service were excellent.
