The Winbury Club held its annual installation of new officers at Cafe' Bouchee' on May 16. Welcomed as new members were Gale Williams and Cheryl Wainwright.
Outgoing president, Anne Millette, presented a gift to Mercer Brumfield in appreciation of her tremendous help during the year, as well as gifts to all of the officers who served during her tenure as president.
Janice Branch, Joni Brindle, and Jana Stafford were also recognized for having perfect attendance.
Incoming president, Karen Spears, chose as her theme for the upcoming club year "Love Grows All Things". Mercer Brumfield, the installing officer, creatively used this theme as she described the duties of each officer. After the installation of new officers, Karen Spears presented a gift to the Outgoing President, Anne Millette, and praised her for her time as club president. In addition, she presented a gift to Mercer Brumfield, Installing Officer. She also gave committee and hostess assignments to members for the upcoming year.
