My name is Hayward Partman Sr. I was born June 29, 1930, to the late Silas 'Dewey' and Katie Burris Partman.
I joined Sweet Home Holiness Church at an early age. I was baptized under the pastorage of Elder H.R. McKinnis.
In 1944, my father moved our family to the country. After the move, I joined Bethel Holiness Church under the pastorage of Elder B.T. Johnson and faithfully attended H.Y.P.U. and Sunday School.
In 1959, at 29 years of age, I was ordained as the youngest deacon, under the pastorage of Bishop Clifton Goodlow.
I have served as a deacon for over 64 years. Currently at the age of 93,1 am the oldest active Deacon in the Church of Christ Holiness, U.S.A.
