Patrolman Chris McElveen has been nominated by his peers and has been selected as the 2022 Franklinton Police Department Officer of the Year.
Chris will be formally recognized at a Franklinton Rotary Club dinner this week..
Chris began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer in 2018 and transitioned to full-time in 2019.
"I look forward to the days when Chris is working," said Police Chief Justin Brown. "He never fails to stick his head in my office and ask, How's it going Chief?" He's truly an asset to our agency and the community as well. I am honored he wears the FPD uniform and proud his fellow officers acknowledged him for his worthiness to represent not only himself but our entire agency with this award."
