The Franklinton Christmas Festival is already preparing the way for the 2022 Princess and Court participants.
September 1st thru Sept 16th are very important dates. If your daughter would like to participate in the fundraiser to become a member of the 2022 Candy Cane Court, email her name, age, parents'/guardians' name and phone number to franklintonchristmas@gmail.com or message Franklinton Christmas Festival's Facebook page during these dates. She must be 9-13 years of age and a resident of Washington Parish. No participant will be entered after Sept. 16th.
The girls will receive tickets to sell at a later date. They will cost $1.00 each. The prizes will be listed on the tickets. The top ticket seller will be crowned the 2022 Christmas Princess and will ride on Santa's float when the FCF Lighted Parade rolls through Franklinton on December 3, 2022. The next 10 girls who have top sales will become the Candy Cane Court. They will also have a float in the parade. There will be a brunch held in their honor with invitations for guests.
