Anyone planning to enter the annual Franklinton Fall Decorating Contest needs to hurry: The final deadline for entering is this coming Friday (October 7).
Judging is scheduled for Saturday, October 15.
The annual contest is sponsored by the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce. It ties in nicely with the Fair and lends a festive Fall appearance to the town for visitors and residents alike.
Categories this year are:
•Clubs
•Education and Government
•Residential
•Banks, Insurance, Financial Institutions
•Services
•Retail
•Window Display & Interior (this is for any entry that is displayed in a window or interior space instead of outside.)
To enter, list your category, your name, your contact information, and the exact display address or location. Email the information to the Chamber of Commerce at thefranklintonchamber@gmail.com or mail it to the Chamber at 211 11th Avenue, Franklinton. Or see the entry form on Page B6 of this week’s edition of The Era-Lader. Entries must be received no later than Friday, October 7.
