Early voting for the March 26 Franklinton recall election begins this Saturday. Early voting will continue from March 12 until March 19, with the exception of Sunday, March 13.
The only item on the ballot will be the recall petition for Franklinton Alderman Heath Spears.
Voters will vote either Yes or No in answer to the question of whether Spears should be recalled.
Only registered voters living within the Franklinton city limits are eeligible to vote.
Early voting takes place in a single location: The Registrar of Voters Office in the parish Courthouse. On Election Day, all three regular Franklinton precincts will be open: The School Board Office at 800 Main Street, (Precinct 3-01; Franklinton Junior High School, Precinct 3-02; and Franklinton High School, Precinct 3-03.
