Chairman Minnie Posey of the Washington Parish Free Fair Plants and Flowers committee has released the themes for competitive events as well as divisions for the various garden clubs in the parish for the upcoming 2022 fair. The fair theme for 2022 is "All Roads Lead to the Fair." The various garden club exhibits and education entries will follow the theme "Highway to Good Memories."
The parish garden clubs will exhibit in the following categories and locations:
Class 1: Flowers on Parade
Nitch 1: Southeast Garden Club
Nitch 2: Mt. Hermon Garden Club
Nitch 3: Home and Garden Club
Nitch 4: Design by Pine Garden Club
Class 2: Along the Garden Patch
Nitch 5: Franklinton Garden Club
Nitch 6: Southeast Garden Club
Nitch 7: Northeast Garden Club
Nitch 8: Bogalusa Guild
Class 3: The Door is Always Open
Nitch 9: Franklinton Garden Club
Nitch 10: Bogalusa Guild
Nitch 11: Home and Garden Club
Nitch 12: Design by Pine Garden Club

Grades 3-4 Picking Flowers for Maw Maw or Fishing with Paw Paw
Grades 5-6 Picking Up Pawpaws Putting in Pocket or Ring Around the Roses
Grades 7-8 Driving to the Fair or Midway Madness
Grades 9-10 The Fair Came to Town or Working in the Garden
Grades 11-12 Highway Treasures or Parish Roads Lead to the Main Gate
An additional student category is a collage with the theme Down by the Branch/Music or Rodeo Clowns
