Guy LeCompte, a highly successful former Mandeville High School coach, will become the next Franklinton High School head football coach.
He is currently at Country Day on the southshore, Before that, he coached at Mandeville and Holy Cross. At Mandeville, LeCompte took the Skippers to the playoffs every year during his 11 years as head coach. He had a 93-41 won-loss record at Mandeville.
Earlier, he was as assistant coach at Salmen.
LeCompte will join the FHS faculty as head coach next month.
