Polling places in Washington Parish will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. this Saturday (Nov. 18).
Run-offs are being held for three parish offices and one state legislative position.
Incumbent Randy Seal and challenger Jason Smith will face off in the Sheriff’s election. Ryan Seal and Malinda White are seeking the open Parish President’s position. John Wyble and Kelvin May are running for the open 75th District state representative position. And in Parish Council District 6, incumbent Reginald McMasters and challenger Dwayne Magee are the candidates.
There are also statewide run-offs on the ballot for Treasurer, Attorney General, and Secretary of State.
Finally, there are two local tax propositions in Fire District 9, to be voted on only by residents of Fire District 9.
