Voters in Washington Parish will head to the polls this Saturday (December 10) to decide three School Board run-offs. Also on the ballot will be a 1/3 cent sales tax renewal that benefits the parish criminal and civil justice system.
School board run-offs are set for three of the nine parish school board districts.
In District 1 in the Mt. Hermon area, run-off candidates are Keith Giles and Justin Brown.
In District 7, which is in the Franklinton area, incumbent Lee Alan McCain and challenger David Pettit are in the run-off.
And in District 8, also in the Franklinton area, incumbent Frankie Crosby Sr. and challenger Sarah Burris are in the run-off.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
