Schools in Washington Parish will be hosting Veterans Day programs once again this year as a way of saying “Thank You” to the many men and women who have served their country in the armed forces.
On Veterans Day, we honor all of those who served, while Memorial Day is reserved for remembering and honoring those who lost their lives in the service of their country.
Here is a listing of the school programs that are planned. In all cases, veterans and spouses and active duty military members and spouses are invited and urged to attend. (Please notice that there is a correction in the listing for Bowling Green School.)
