The November meeting of the Washington Art Association was held at the home of Christine Beatty. Assisting hostesses were: Kharon Delaney, Janice Fisher and Lorraine Roshto. Following a delicious gumbo meal, the business meeting included reports on the Carl Thorp Scholarship raffle, the Fair Art Show, introduction of new members and plans for future events. The program was "The Art of Quilting" given by guest speaker, Bette Cassidy who displayed several of her quilts and told about her years of pursuing her passion for quilting.
