The long awaited 2024 Washington Parish Watermelons are here and producers and promoters are requesting your support of our parish’s most popular product.
Growers will have watermelons available from now until September.
The growers will have watermelons at the 2nd Annual Watermelon Festival, July 5-7 at the Washington Parish Fairgrounds, During the festival, the growers will have a melon auction showcasing some of the biggest and sweetest melons available. They will also hold a watermelon eating and seed spitting contest along with a watermelon roll on Saturday, July 6.
So, come visit your local watermelon producers and other promoters and activities at the 2nd Annual Watermelons Festival and enjoy THE SWEET TASTE OF WASHINGTON PARISH!
