The Winbury Club met on September 26th at the home of Mercer Brumfield, who co-hosted the meeting with Anne Millette and Sandy Morgan.
The theme of the night was the Fair because Queen Addie Goings and Queen Mother Kelli Goings were the guest speakers. Addie has traveled many miles to share her love of the Fair with others in our state. She also has been going to kindergarten classes and reading a book about the Fair, Small Town, Big Fair. She wants the kids to grow up and love the fair like she does because they are the future volunteers that will keep it going.
Kelli told members what being the mother of the Queen entails—lots of travel and adventures!
