The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office will be holding a public hearing to discuss a grant that has been applied for. The public hearing is set for 4:15 p.m. on Monday, November 4 in the Parish Council Meeting Room at the Courthouse. prior to the Parish Council meeting.
The grant would fund new equipment for use in the jail.
The public is invited to attend the public hearing, where details of the grant will be discussed.
This grant will allow WPSO to purchase new radios, uniforms, and pepper spray for corrections deputies so they can perform their duties in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner.
