Parish and state health officials are urging people to get vaccinated to help ward off the highly contageous delta variant of COVID, which has spread across Louisiana like wildfire.
As of this week, 92% of those hospitalized in Louisiana with COVID are not vaccinated, which helps to validate that the vaccine works to prevent COVID.
In Washington Parish most pharmacies, the health units, and both hospitals are offering free vaccinations. Call for an appointment.
