Thursday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day and local schools will be honoring our veterans and active service members. The Town of Franklinton will also honor veterans.
Franklinton High School will hold its annual Veterans Day breakfast in the school library at 7 a.m. with the program to immediately follow in the school gym. All veterans and active service members and their spouses are cordially invited to attend. (The correct date is Thursday, November 11 --- in the printed version of The Era-Leader the date is incorrect, sorry.)
Bowling Green School will honor veterans and active service members on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11. A lunch will be held in the sports complex at 12 noon, and the program will follow in the gym at 1 p.m. Veterans, active service members, and spouses are cordially invited to attend.

The Town of Franklinton will honor all veterans during the regular meeting of the Mayor and Aldermen on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 at Franklinton City Hall. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
