The Bowling Green Lady Bucs traveled to Purvis, Mississippi to face Lamar Christian School before hosting Parklane Academy in last week's basketball action.
In the Lady Bucs contest against Lamar, each team scored 7 points in the first quarter. The Lady Bucs outscored Lamar 8-7 in the second and led 15-14 at halftime. Bowling Green outscored the Lady Lions 10-6 in the third to extend their lead to 25-20. Lamar gained a slim 14-13 advantage in the fourth, but the Lady Bucs came away with a 38-34 road win.
Bailey Devall had 15 points for the Lady Bucs with Anna Claire Crowe and Bridget Devall scoring 6 points each. Claire Wascom totaled 4 points, Kaka Seal added 2 points while Chloe Bertrand and Hope Crowe each finished with 2 points.
On Friday, Bowling Green faced the Lady Pioneers from Parklane Academy in McComb, Mississippi. The Lady Bucs scored the game's first 14 points before a Parklane run cut the lead to 16-13 after one quarter. Bowling Green extended their lead with a 15-7 second quarter advantage and led 31-20 at the half. The Lady Bucs outscored Parklane 12-7 in the third quarter. The Lady Pioneers out pointed Bowling Green 14-13 in the fourth with the Lady Bucs finishing off a 56-41 win.
Bailey Devall led the scoring with 17 points to go with 3 assists and 3 steals while Claire Wascom scored 12 points with 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Kaka Seal had 8 points with 4 steals and 3 assists, Bridget Devall (5 rebounds and 4 steals) and Hope Crowe (2 rebounds) each scored 6 points, Chloe Bertrand added 5 points and 3 steals while Peyton Dupuy finished with 2 points, 3 steals and 2 assists. Anna Claire Crowe added 2 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
