The Franklinton Junior High Falcons opened their season with a nice win last Wednesday evening in Demon Stadium. The Falcons secured a nice 30-0 win over William Pitcher middle school.
In the first period the Falcons scored when Reshard Ginn reached the endzone on a five yard run with 4:31 left on the clock. Kia Allen passed to Kaloryn Robinson to add the two point conversion and make the score 8-0 Falcons.
Matthew Harding added a touchdown late in the first period as he went in from five yards out with just five seconds left on the clock. The two point conversion was no good and the Falcons led 14-0.
Late in the first half Kaden Carden scored on a three yard run to put the Falcons up 22-0 after Jermiah Roberts ran in for the two point conversion. This would be the halftime score.
In the third period Harding added another touchdown as he ran forty one yards for the score. Reshard Ginn added the two point conversion for a 30-0 score in favor of the Falcons. Coach Andy Creel played numerous substitutes for the remainder of the game and the Falcons held on for the nice season opening win, 30-0.
The Falcons will travel to St Pauls to play the Wolves on August 29
