UPDATE -- LSU defeated Arkansas 4-1 in the opening round of the College World Series Saturday evening by a 4-1 score.
The #6 ranked Tigers will face UCLA next. The LSU-UCLA game starts at 6 p.m. tonight (Monday). It will be shown on ESPN.
LSU dominated the #3 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks to claim the win Saturday and continue their quest for the 2025 NCAA baseball championship.
UPDATE: After defeating West Virginia Sunday evening, the LSU Tigers are now headed to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
The College World Series starts this Friday.
LSU, ranked #6 nationally, will face #3 Arkansas at 6 pm Saturday, June 14. Both LSU and Arkansas have 48 wins for the season thus far.
The winner of the LSU-Arkansas game will play Monday evening against the winner of the UCLA-Murray State game.

Steven Milam and Josh Pearson hit grand slams in consecutive innings to power LSU to a 16-9 victory over West Virginia in Game 1 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional on Saturday.
Milam's slam highlighted a six-run 4th inning and Pearson's bases loaded homer was part of a seven-run 5th inning for the No. 6 national seed.
The Tigers were actually held hitless until the bottom of the 4th. Derek Curiel gave LSU that first knock, with an opposite field three-run homer to left. LSU scored 16 runs on just eight hits.
LSU ace and St. Paul's alum Kade Anderson tossed seven innings and struck out seven. Anderson, a projected top-3 pick in the upcoming MLB Draft, did give up seven runs, six of them earned. That is the most runs allowed by the sophomore lefty in an outing this season.
LSU needs one more victory to advance to the College World Series for the second time in the last three seasons. Game 2 of the best-of-three series takes place Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium.
