Lucille Luper Wade, 87, a resident of Franklinton died Monday, June 29, 2026 at her residence.
She was a member of Poplarhead Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Franklinton High School Class of 1957. She enjoyed attending church and cooking for her family. In her free time she liked to sew, tend to her plants and flowers.

Daughter: Jamie Brumfield (Kent II)
2 Grandsons: Shane and Jon Randol, Coy and Alexus Randol
Special family members Barbara Sue Luper and Diane Wood
Numerous other family members
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Wade and her parents Charlie and Tera Sumrall Luper.
Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home, Thursday, July 2, 2026 after 9 AM until time of funeral service to be held at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Edward Penton and Bro. Gary Sumrall officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplarhead Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
