Thomas James Miller and his descendants will be featured this year at the 2025 Washington Parish Fair.
He and his family appear in the 1870 Census for Washington Parish. He was born in Pike County, Mississippi in 1870. It is known that Thomas James Miller married three times and had 22 children. His first wife was Maritta Lee Dillon, and they had seven children. His second wife was Clara Ginn, and she too had seven children. Nancy Brock Morris was his third wife, and they had eight children.
Thomas J. Miller's death date has not been determined. He and some family members are buried in the Miller Cemetery in Ward 2 (the Mt. Hermon area) across the road from the Lester Alford place, near the Bogue Chitto River.
