During last week’s Washington Parish Council meeting Coach Gary Cooper Magee was honored with a proclamation in recognition of his 61 years of coaching, teaching, mentoring, and performing civic volunteering and duties.
The proclamation details Magee’s athletic ability from 1952 to 1958, and his coaching career from 1960 through 1994.
