Easter egg hunt is held at Franklinton library

For the first Storytime in April, the Franklinton Branch Library held their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Over twenty children attended. Mrs. Jennifer read stories about birds and parties since April marks the library's 80th birthday and birds lay the eggs for the hunt.

By the time the Washington Art Association holds its annual show and sale, the weather is usually warmer and it is a nice day to be outside. The 2026 show is set for this Sunday, March 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Sara Nelson in Clifton.

The "Pride in Franklinton" honors for the Month of April were recently awarded. These awards are sponsored by the Town of Franklinton, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Home & Garden Club of Franklinton.
The Business of the Month is Crain Funeral Home at 1109 Bene St., Franklinton.
