As we move through January, we’ve been experiencing a variety of temperatures. The summertime warmth caused us to toss our jackets and sweaters to the side, while the cold temps made us pick them up again. We might control some of the things that occur in our lives but, the weather is not one of them.

The Washington Parish School Board met on Thursday, February 12 at Varnado High School. Following the call to order students from VHS led the prayer, Pledge of Allegiance and a clarinet rendition of the National Anthem.
