Our community has been raising funds to build "Our Veterans Memorial Park" (OVMP) in Washington Parish to pay tribute to veterans. On Memorial Day, progress was realized when we raised the first three flags in the center of the lighted plaza - the majestic USA flag, the Louisiana State flag, and the POW flag.
