A crowd gathered at the Mount Hermon Ruritan Club this past Saturday for a significant occasion: The 75th anniversary of the club’s founding.
The national president of Ruritan, Glen Broadwater or Virginia, was present, along with local elected officials and friends and relatives of Ruritan members.

Holy Family Catholic Church is again holding Lenten fish fry

Holy Family Catholic Church is once again hosting its annual Lenten Fish Fry.
The Fish Fry will be held every Friday during Lent. Dates are March 4, 11,18, 25, and April 1 & 8. Hours are 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Parish School Board approves salary supplement
