A crowd gathered at the meeting room at Bogue Chitto State Park last week for a retirement reception honoring Richard Thomas.
Thomas retired on Monday of this week after 16 years as Washington Parish President. The new Parish President, Ryan Seal, was sworn in Monday afternoon of this week.
