U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is seriously considering entering next year's governor's race.
Kennedy released a media statement Monday morning that expressed his strong interest in replacing Gov. John Bel Edwards, who is term-limited and will not be able to run in the 2023 governor's election.
