Jags' Etienne returns after foot injury derails rookie year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Travis Etienne had several regrets about having to sit out his rookie season. He longed for the camaraderie, the competition and the chance to play in the NFL, his main goal since he was a kid growing up in Jennings, Louisiana.

One killed in accident west of Sunny Hill community

Monday morning, July 25, shortly after 10:30 a.m., Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L began investigating a fatal two vehicle crash on LA Hwy 440 at the LA Hwy 1061 intersection in Tangipahoa Parish, west of the Sunny Hill community.
The crash claimed the life of 35-year-old Shaquanti Moore of Kentwood.
