James Bennie “Pa Pa” Jones Jr, 69, a resident of the Zona community near Enon passed away Saturday April 30, 2022 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of Bogalusa High School before joining the United States Army. James served his country as a helicopter crewman and mechanic during the Vietnam War era stationed in Germany.

State Police arrest driver in Hwy 10 fatal accident; DWI is charged

State Police have charged Darnelle Leblanc with DWI and Vehicular Homicide, as well as other charges, in connection with a Monday accident on Highway 10 that killed a Mount Hermon man.
The accident occurred about mid-day Monday.
