The LSU Health Ahead/Heart Smart Children's Health Program held its annual Moral and Ethics Essay contest award luncheon on May 1st. Sixth-grade students from public, private and parochial schools in the Bogalusa and Washington Parish school systems were encouraged to write an essay, using prompts suggested by program coordinators.
