Three people were killed in an accident early Sunday morning just west of Franklinton.
It happened at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 25 shortly after 5 a.m..
A pickup truck traveling east toward Franklinton on Highway 16 did not stop at the double stop signs at the intersection, instead plowing across Highway 25.

The Franklinton Soccer Club is offering a $300 reward for information leading to the recovery of this light tower trailer, which was stolen from Atoka Recreation Park off of Highway 25, north of Franklinton at Pico Road.
It's a shame that anyone would steal from an organization that serves our young people.
