FHS Demons defeat Pine and Maurepas in baseball action

The Franklinton Demons baseball team had a great week last week as they won their games against both Pine (4-0) and Maurepas (10-1). The Demons and first year head coach Clay Tageant hold an 8-5 record as they begin district action. The Demons will host Hannan and Pearl River in district action this week on Wednesday and Friday.

The world creates 57 million tons of plastic pollution every year and spreads it from the deepest oceans to the highest mountaintop to the inside of people's bodies, according to a new study that also said more than two-thirds of it comes from the Global South.
