District 9 (Mt. Hermon) Volunteer Fire Department is now taking orders for chicken dinner plates. The cost is $12 a plate, and it includes half chicken, baked beans, potato salad, bread and cake. The date of pick-up is Saturday, March 8th at the Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club. To place an order, you may contact any Dist. 9 volunteer, message WPFD Dist. 9 on Facebook, or text 985-877-5029 with your name and the number of plates needed.
Mt. Hermon School students will receive report cards on Monday, January 13th.
The upcoming home games for the MHS Jackets and Lady Jackets are Jan. 13th at 5:30, playing against Pope John Paul, Jan. 14th at 6:00, playing against Holden. The Homecoming Court will be presented on Jan. 23rd prior to the games against False River.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church paint party is this Saturday at 10 AM in the fellowship hall for a cost of $25. Please contact Beverly Taylor if you would like to participate.
The Young at Heart group of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church will have their January gathering on Jan. 23rd at Eat Out in Franklinton. Everyone will meet there at 11:30 AM.
