Vacation Bible School is next week at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church! June 23rd-27th, 5-8 PM. You may pre-register on their Facebook page for children who have completed PreK through 6th grade.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church will have their VBS July 7th-11th, 5:30-8 PM for PreK-14 years old.
A new Bible study started last week at Mt/ Hermon Baptist Church. It’s not too late to join them on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM in the Education Building. The 6-week study is on Growing Closer to God, and is led by Bro. Tommy Hickman.
The fathers of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church were recognized at church during the Sunday morning service. They all received a gift that consisted of salted cashews, goldfish crackers, and a key chain with the Bible verse: The glory of children are their fathers Proverbs 17:6, and an old fashioned glass bottle of Dad’s root beer or cream soda.
It’s Senior Camp week in Tioga for the older teenagers of the youth group. Sending prayers for a blessed week.
This past Saturday, many of the church members were at church to help with the Second Harvest Food Bank food distribution. When this first started in April, 40 families were being served. It is now up to 70 families being served! Our church is very thankful to be able to help provide food for the people of this community.
