Happy hot Wednesday! We are definitely in the hottest part of summer. With the heat index of 108-115 degrees, it can be miserable and dangerous. Be careful out there! But on a brighter note, Halloween and fall decorations have arrived at stores, so there’s that!

Mount Hermon Baptist Church
This past Sunday, Cody Freeman was baptized at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Cody is the son of Jeremy and Shaunna Freeman. May God continue to bless you as you grow in your faith.
A few more items are still needed for Operation Christmas Child: Crayola crayons (24 to a pack), and especially pencil pouches.
A Back to School Blast is set for Sunday, August 3rd for the children and youth. The children’s party is from 3-5 PM, and the youth party is from 5-7 PM.
Next Sunday, July 27th, will be the last Sunday for Bro. Ray and Cathy Wuerzer. He is retiring, and they are moving to Georgia. There will be a farewell lunch immediately after the morning worship to honor them and wish them well on the next chapter of their lives. They will certainly be missed by the church and the community.
Mount Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church was honored to have Bro. Don Miley in the morning service, and to bring the message.
Sis. LeeAnna Lebo made beautiful prayer cloths with a wooden cross inside for anyone who may need special prayers. They have been anointed and prayed over.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Monday nights at 7 PM for Bible study, Tuesday nights at 7 PM for prayer meeting, Wednesday nights at 7 PM for children and youth classes, and adults meet in the sanctuary. Also, Sunday mornings at 10 AM for praise and worship service, and Sunday evenings at 7 PM for Hope Alive, or come early at 6 PM for food and fellowship. There is a place for everyone!
