The upcoming Jr. High football game will be against FJH Falcons in Franklinton on Tuesday, Sept. 16th, and Sumner Jr. High Cowboys at home Wednesday, Sept. 17th. Both games start at 5:30 PM.
To support the MHS Senior Beta Club, be sure to buy some raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful handmade American flag blanket. Tickets are only $1 each, and the money being raised is to help cover fees and expenses for state convention in February. You may purchase a ticket at any home football game, any Beta member, Mrs. Tracy Phillips, or Mrs. Miranda Fountain. The drawing will be Nov. 10th at the Veterans Day program.
MHS game day shirts can be worn on any game day with khaki shorts or pants. The 25-26 spirit shirts can be worn on Fridays with khakis.
The children and youth activities have started back on Wednesday nights at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church! All children and youth, ages 3-18, are welcome. They also have a time of Bible study and prayer for adults. It all starts at 5:30 PM with a light meal in the fellowship hall, then activities begin at 6 PM. Adult choir practice begins at 7 PM. Youth and older children are welcome too.
Last chance to order barbecue chicken dinners from Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church! You don’t want to miss it! Orders must be turned in by tomorrow, Sept. 11th. Dinners will be ready next Saturday, Sept. 20th. Pick up time is 11-1, from the church or Jack Brown’s in Franklinton. Only $12 for half a chicken with potato salad, baked beans, bread and cake. The Young at Hearts will meet at Golden Corral in McComb, Ms on September 25th.
Ladies Conference will take place in Loranger on October 17th, with Sis. Joy Albritton being the speaker.
All are welcome to join us at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church for a night of Southern Gospel singing by Bro. Terry Terrell, on Saturday, November 1st at 6 PM.
