Congratulations to Brook’s General Store for winning in four categories of the Reader’s Choice Awards! They won the titles of Best Fried Chicken, Best Salads, Best Hamburgers, and Best Red Beans and Rice. The Brook’s crew would like to thank all of their customers for the votes and all the support.
The Mt. Hermon Jr. High football team will compete in the Parish Championship game Tuesday, October 7th, at Varnado High School. Good luck, Yellowjackets!
Thursday, October 9th, will be a busy evening at MHS. Beta Induction, Class Ring and Letterman Jacket Ceremony will all be taking place. Also, for grades K-5th, it is Literacy Night.
The youth group of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church will be selling jambalaya plates after church this Sunday. The jambalaya will be prepared by Mr. Luke Brooks. The money raised will go toward mission trips that the youth plan to take during the summer.

Friday, October 17th, is the Ladies Conference in Loranger. Sis. Joy Albritton will be the guest speaker.
Only one month away! Bro. Terry Terrell will be joining us at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church on November 1st at 6:00 PM, to bring a night of anointed Southern Gospel singing. All who attend will be blessed!
