Congratulations to the MHS Students of the Year: Syria Crain and London Strange! Syria Crain, 12th grader, is the daughter of Crystal Fortenberry and Juan Crain. She serves as President of Beta, Secretary of Student Council, and Vice President of the Senior Class of 2026. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, spending time with friends, and visiting her grandmother. Syria plans to become a travel nurse and obtain her real estate license.
London Strange, 8th grader, is the daughter of Ashley and Aaron Warren. She serves as President of Junior Beta, Chaplain of 4-H, and participates in the Good Samaritan Club, P7, Christian Club, and Student Council. Her hobbies include playing softball and crafting. London plans to become a veterinarian in the future.
MHS is proud of these Yellowjackets for their hard work, leadership, and dedication.
MHS invites community members, ages 65 and up, to attend the Charlie Brown Christmas Senior Luncheon. This special event will be Friday, Dec. 5th, 11 AM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Give the gift of reading! All are welcome to attend the Christmas Book Fair in the MHS Library on Thursday, Dec. 4th, from 4-6 PM. In addition to the Book Fair, winter pictures may be taken, drink hot chocolate, and have story-time. Then, stay and watch the basketball game afterwards.

The Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church family welcomes our newest member, Waylon Brian O’Bryant! He was born November 10th, weighing 6lbs. 3oz. Waylon is the son of Brian and Adrian O’Bryant.
Kyle and Addisyn Cutrer are soon expecting a baby girl! They will be given a baby shower at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church on Saturday, December 6th at 12 noon. Gift registry is at Walmart and Amazon.
