The family of Bobbie Earl Wilkes McElveen Adams celebrated with her for her 90th birthday at her home in Mt. Hermon on January 12th. Everyone enjoyed finger foods, birthday cake and her favorite, Blue Bell ice cream. She was born on January 15, 1935 to Willie Burch Wilkes and Samuel Earl Wilkes.

The Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club is hosting a Chili Cook-off Fundraiser on February 8th, from 11 AM-1PM at the Ruritan Clubhouse. It’s only $5 per person to taste a variety of homemade chili. Everyone is welcome to join them for community fellowship while sampling their delicious homemade chili.
A Senior Adult Luncheon will be held at the LA Baptist Evangelism Conference at FBC Covington on Tuesday, January 28th. For $15 per person, lunch will be provided at the church, along with breakout teaching from Jake Roudkovski. Stay after lunch for a great afternoon session, including Selah, leading worship. Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church will be hosting a Bridal Shower for Addisyn Lebo on February 22nd. Addisyn and Kyle Cutrer are registered at Amazon and Walmart.
Join us on Sunday nights at 7 PM for Hope Alive, and come early at 6:15 for food and fellowship. Casual dress. Hope Alive is a 12 step, court approved, Christ-centered recovery program for anyone with hurts, habits and hang ups. This coming Sunday night is testimony and chip night!
