December has always been a month full of activities, and this one is no different! Let’s make it a December to remember!

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be at the Ruritan Club on Saturday, December 20th, from 5-8 PM. Bring your camera and take free pictures!
It’s the season of giving and helping those in need! The District 9 (Mt. Hermon) Fire Department is working with a non-profit group that vets families through Mt. Hermon School to determine the needs of local families. They have lists that include toys and gifts, and also clothing, shoes, and other basic needs. If you feel moved to help, you may give by sending a donation to the fire department’s Venmo account at WPFD9, or contact them at 985-877-5029. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated, and will make a difference this holiday season and beyond.
Mt. Hermon School is hosting the Christmas Senior Citizen Luncheon this Friday at 11 AM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. It is hosted by MHS Student Council. Anyone age 65 and older of Mt. Hermon is welcome. Please RSVP by calling the school at 985-877-4642. All are sure to have a time of laughter, and enjoying good food.
Don’t forget that the Christmas Book Fair is going on this week. You may also visit the library with your child Thursday night, from 4-6 PM.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
This Saturday at 12 noon, there will be a baby shower honoring Kyle and Addisyn Cutrer in the fellowship hall of the church. The soon to be parents are expecting a baby girl. Gift registry is available at Walmart and Target.
The Ladies Christmas Dinner is Thursday, Dec 11th, 7 PM, at the church.
