The Mt. Hermon Fire Department (District 9) is still selling chicken dinner plates for $12. The last day to order is this Saturday, February 28th. Plates include half a chicken and all the sides. The pick-up date is Saturday, March 7th, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Ruritan Club. You may place an order with any District 9 volunteer, send message on Facebook page, or text 985-877-5029 with your name and the number of plates needed.

Mt. Hermon Baptist Church recently had their Valentine Banquet. God’s love was in the air! It was a lovely evening of laughter, sweet fellowship, and delicious food. Beautiful memories were made together as a church family.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church will host the Section 1 Kids Rally on Saturday, March 7th at 2 PM. Games, puppets, action songs, and more will be led by Rev. Adam Franklin. Food will be served afterwards. All kids are welcome!

Dr. Seuss Week is next week, March 2nd-6th! It will be a fun week of themed dress-up days celebrating reading and school spirit!
Monday is Cat in the Hat Day - wear your favorite hat. Tuesday is Fox in Socks Day - wear silly or mismatched socks. Wacky Wednesday - wear clothes backwards, inside out, or mismatched. Thursday is Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day - dress alike with a friend or two. Wear as much green as you can on Friday for Green Eggs and Ham Day.
