Happy Wednesday to you all! The month of May is here and there are lots of things to look forward to in Mt. Hermon.
Sugar Shack on the River will have its grand opening on Mother’s Day, this Sunday from 10 AM-3 PM. For delicious homemade food in a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views, come on down to 41298 Hwy. 38 (Clifton) on the Bogue Chitto River.
The Seal family of Mt. Hermon is excited to announce that they will be opening Seal’s Family Farm and Supply in the former Mt. Hermon Hardware location. They will be offering hardware, feed, farm supplies, and everyday essentials along with fresh homegrown and homemade farm products from local farms. It will still be a few weeks before they officially open, but they are excited to finally share the news!
Silver Creek Campground had a clean-up day this past weekend. That’s a big step closer to the announcement of their official opening! The new owners, the Soder family, have been working hard to restore the campground, elevate it, and turn it into a true destination. They plan to roll out events almost every weekend, including live music, community nights, family activities, and seasonal events. More details, event schedules, and booking information will be coming soon.
