Congratulations to Sarah Crowe, MHS 2nd grader, for having her artwork chosen by the Franklinton Police Dept. to be part of their calendar for this year. Sarah’s picture was one of six in the parish to be chosen.

A Pet Item Drive is being sponsored by MHS Student Council throughout this month and next month. Items needed include dog and cat food, stuffed animals, old blankets and sheets, shampoo, flea treatments, etc. All contributions will go to a local animal shelter, and an animal shelter in North Carolina. Dr. Seuss Week is February 24th-28th. Elementary students are encouraged to participate each day as follows:
Monday-wear your favorite hat (Cat in the Hat)
Tuesday-wear red and blue (One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish)
Wednesday-dress up in wacky clothes (Wacky Wednesday)
Thursday-wear crazy socks (Fox in Socks)
Friday-wear green (Green Eggs and Ham)
The Young at Hearts of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church will meet at 11:30 AM this Thursday, Feb. 20th, at Eat Out in Franklinton for their February gathering. All are welcome to join them for lots of fun, food, and fellowship!
A Couple’s Shower will be given this Saturday at 2 PM in the church fellowship hall for Addisyn Lebo and Kyle Cutrer. They are registered at Amazon and Walmart.
