Silver Creek Campground will be celebrating Father’s Day this weekend, starting Friday night, 7-9 PM, with karaoke. Saturday morning at 9 AM, there will be potato sack races and water balloon fights at 1 PM (kids vs. dads). 1/3 Band with Ricky Chesnutt and All About My Dad coloring project from 10-12 PM. Bingo for all ages from 3-4 PM. The Steamrollers will be performing live music from 7-9 PM. Sunday, Father’s Day, there will be a non-denominational service from 9-10 that morning hosted by Pastor Hunter Chatman.
It’s not too late to get signed up for Vacation Bible School! Bogue Chitto Baptist Church will have theirs next week, June 22nd-26th, from 5-8 PM. Any child who has completed Pre-K-6th grade is welcome to join “Emerald Crossing”-An Irish adventure through Psalm 23.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church will have VBS July 6th-10th, beginning at 5:30 in the evening. Registration is open for both Bible schools on their Facebook page.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church invites all ladies for a great time of fellowship to a Ladies meeting Thursday, June 25th at 7 PM at the church.
The Young at Hearts will meet the following day, Friday, June 26th, 11:30 AM at the church. Sis. Paula Broom will be the guest speaker.!
